Every year the Douglas County Sheriff Department Sponsors a contest for the middle school students. There are 13 winners from our county so the students have a good chance. The top prize is a laptop or I Pod Touch. Here are some of the entries. We submitted about 20 this year. The students are given some class time to work on the pictures and then they usually finish up at home. The contest is optional but I do give extra credit if they hand one in.
