Pop Art Parody

Eighth Grade is finishing up our Pop Art Unit. We learned about Lichtenstein and how he made fun of other art. Each student chose a 4x6 famous painting and using the grid method enlarged to poster size. Now they are painting designs and patterns from their imagination. Can you still recognize the original paintings?

Clay Box Gargoyle Sculpture

Sixth Grade is learning about Gothic Cathedrals and the most interesting part is the Gargoyles. We are making slab boxes with our own creature on top as a sculpture.

Here are some of them ready to go into the kiln.
