| We started drawing some castles in Art class. First we watched a powerpoint about the parts of a castle. |

| We used some cardboard templates to give us straight lines. We talked about how to draw bricks and the angle on the towers to give a 3D look. |

| A new part of a castle we learned about were crenellations. This is the edge on the tops of towers used for defense. |
 |
| We used gray oil pastels for the stone and art stix for the color. |
 |
| Each castle design was so unique and creative. |
