6th grade Gothic Gargoyles in Clay

Sixth grade has finally completed their clay project this year. It has been a long haul with the supplier running out of clay and days off inbetween. They did a great job with the glazing at the end. The two pieces are designed to go together as a box.
Many different creatures were sculpted- they really used their imagination. I am still grading them and sending them home in shoeboxes. Please be patient to get yours. Grades will be on rubrics and sent home with the thursday folders after thanksgiving.

Glazing was fun. We learned how to pour the clear glaze into the box and swirl it around and turn it upside down so we didnt get it too thick inside.
