Altered Photo Art

This was a fun project to end the semester with our digital photos the students took at O'Brien Park.

The photos were put in water bath for a minute. This softened the emulsion on the photo and some parts of the photo were scraped off. Paint or oil pastel were used to decorate the photos.

Glitter was popular too.

The photos were glued in our stab binding books we made. The covers were decorated too.

This photo was decorated with a bleach pen.

We altered our Photos

In Eighth grade as a final project in Photography we mounted our photos on brightly painted backgrounds. Next  we altered them by scratching and sanding with sandpaper. Students also tore the photos for different effects.
