8th Grade wire sculpture

We watched a Calder movie before deciding what we wanted to make out of wire for our sculpture.

Name: Mrs Ackerman Location: Parker, Colorado

Welcome to the middle school Artroom. This is my 8th year teaching middle school art at Core Knowledge. I love to create and to help others learn all the various types of art we experience here at core. Students will be exposed to drawing, clay, printing, sculpture, collage, painting, and color theory.

P.C.K.C.S. Middle School Art Room

We will be having parents volunteering in our sixth grade classroom. Your student will be bringing home a behavior contract for you to sign and a space to indicate if you would like to come in. It is such a help to hand out and collect supplies (we use a lot) so I can concentrate on teaching and giving the students all my attention and help.

Here are the latest projects and news of our middle school artroom. This includes Sixth grade and Seventh/Eighth grade Electives. You can leave a comment if you want.

Daily warm-ups and personal sketchbook will be done to help you brainstorm ideas and solidify concepts.
