Greek Scratchboard Vases- 6th Grade

Sixth grade learned about some Greek myths in Language Arts.  We watched a powerpoint about classical art.

Each student made their own scratchboard to mimic the orange figure vase technique. We used orange oil pastel with black tempera paint.

The greek figures and creatures were so creative.
